Transcript for the PDH Campaign

PDH lessons are always great fun and today was no exception. We started off the lesson with listening to some radio ads made by this year's yr12s and they were pretty funny. Especially the one where the guy had to talk in a girl's voice (screaming etc). LOL.

Then we were given transcripts of those ads you might've seen on TV where the people talk and then a title goes on screen eg. "That's sexual assault" [asshole]. We had to read them out and then the class spoke the titles. It was freaking funny. LOL @ Timothy S.
"I was angy" Ahahahaha. You had to be there.

And then we had to make our own campaigns. It could either be a play or a spoken thing and we were working in groups of 2-3. I was with Aida and Janette. I have to say, our campaign was pretty good. I was the man, Janette was the woman and Aida was invisible.
We brainstormed heaps of ideas from me speaking Brit (I don't know where I got the accent from, must've been one in another life) to Aida being a superhero kind of person that flies in and beats one of us up (it could've been either lol). But yeah, we finally settled on this one, imagine it:

Intro:
Scene opens with woman (slightly intoxicated) stumbling in the dark, leaving a party. Man follows her outside and stalks her.

Man: Are you alright!?

Woman ignores him and walks quicker.

Man: Hey! You wanna lift home?

Woman: No, you freak! Leave me alone!

Man: Wait!

Man runs up to the woman and grabs her by the shoulder. Woman shields her face -

Aida: STOP!

Man and Woman freeze.

Aida: Sexual assault and violence is a criminal offense. If you've been a victim of sexual assault or violence call 1800 200 526

Now add heaps of laughs from all of us in it and a chair getting in my way of stalking. It was so fun. LOL and oh yeah "She body slammed me." (Jeffrey)
