To Cut or Not To Cut

Yesterday I was faced with a huge decision. It came to me suddenly, but now I can't seem to get it out of my head. So here's what happened.

I was watching TV in my room - Just For Laughs in Montreal I believe - then the commercials pop up. They're pretty boring things, can I get an amen? *AMEN!*
So I avert my eyes LOL. I look to the left, which coincidentally is the mirror wall, and see ... my HAIR. And I think 'Wow. It's REALLY long. Cool.' And it WAS cool cause I never really realised how long it had gotten till then.

Now, before we move on, you have to know that I'm planning to cut my hair sometime in the holidays. But that whole message sent from heaven thing in the mirror, that realisation was giving me doubts. It made me NOT want to cut my hair anymore. It seemed like such a waste you know? So there I was unsure of the whole thing, when something ELSE happened.

I resumed watching TV until the commercials came up ... AGAIN. Then something came over me and I looked to the left ... AGAIN. But this time when I saw my hair, it freaked me the hell out! It looked like it was gonna get up at any moment and start crawling away! Quite a scary thing to happen, let me tell say. Especially since if it DID get up - and there was a pretty big possibility that it would - I wouldn't be able to get rid of it. It's stuck on my head for god's sake! So that REALLY scared me. I would've been ready to shave my head then and there!

But then I remembered the awesomeness of what I saw just a couple of minutes before that and I was caught in an internal struggle to decide whether or not to cut my hair.

It was like, "Cut it off!"
then "Aww but it's so long and straight!"
and then "Aahhh!! It's alive!"
then, "Took so long to grow though"
"KILL IT!"

And so on and so forth. Probably still going to this day. So now the problem is I don't know what to do with it anymore.

To Cut or Not to Cut? THAT is the question.
