I'm Famous!

Something really cool just happened to me. It was so unexpected that it caught me off guard. I didn’t even know how to react. But before we go into what just happened, I suppose you should know the fuller details. You should know about … the daily telegraph.

A little over a week ago during a boring math lesson, this little messenger boy came into the classroom and handed the teacher a green slip. This usually means that something bad would happen to whoever’s name was on that slip. So the teacher read it slip and looked at me. She then read it again and said “Allison, Mrs. Teacher wants to see you.” (you might not have noticed but names have been changed to protect the privacy of these people.)

At the time, I was confused. What would the deputy principal want with me? It’s not like I steal the school’s Wi-Fi or something… no, it can’t be that. When I got to the deputy’s office, she smiled at me. Freak. It was scary. I didn’t know what to do, so I walked ever so slowly towards her. She spoke before I could ask any questions. “The daily telegraph are here,” she whispered secretively like if anyone else knew this piece of information they’d have to get sniped by Mr. Bane (name change). I then went through this whole briefing process, where they told me what was happening and what to say in case the interviewer talked to me (not that he did). But it was pretty intense.

The photographer was waiting outside with a group of all these other students who had, I assume, been debriefed already and were ready for the … for lack of a better word – PHOTOSHOOT! :D

Now, not many people might know this but so many different photos are shot again and again just for ONE to make it to the paper!

Have you worked it out yet? My photo was shown in the Daily Telegraph! That’s pretty big news, I’d say the Daily Telegraph is the most popular newspaper in Australia (:

And now that you know the backstory of the story I’m going to tell NOW – (the frontstory?), you’ll see why its so exciting.

This afternoon as I got on the bus, the bus driver stopped me and was like, “How are you?”

That was weird ‘cause as a general rule, bus drivers and students usually don’t talk. So I mumbled out a “Good” and tried to move along. But then he says, “Did you know you were in the Daily Telegraph?” and that surprised me.

“Did you see it?” I asked. And he nodded – yes. Then left me, stunned, to talk to some person he was talking to before I came along.

It took me a while for what just happened to sink in. He recognised me, the bus  driver recognised me! I’m famous! That’s *onestepclsoertomilo* mwahahaha!

Oh ... now I can never be Anonymous! :(

lol
