It's been a long week, this week. A busy one. We've been busy little bees. In English, man have we been hard at work. It's like we get assignment worthy work for homework due the next day! Sheesh, we even get marked on it! But you know what? We made it through those tough times. Times where it felt like we were in a fog so thick that there was no way of knowing what we would meet on the other side. And you know what was there? Victory.
Enough of my pep talk now, as good as it was. There were some good figurative language in there if I do say so myself. THIS WEEK:
- I bought myself an iPod Touch 8GB v. 2.2.1: With this, I just felt like I needed something cool and what's cooler than an iPod Touch? Possibly an Edward Cullen Twilight Poster but let's not get in over our heads now guys. Anyway, it is so cool. LOL, you should see my wallpaper. It's Heroes related, of course.
- I had my 3 minutes of fame: So I was walking to the orthodontist on Friday right? It was about five to four and I was walking under that bridge near Hungry Jacks/that phone retail place/Westfields when I hear these people say "Quick, quick" and then the sound of running feet. I look in the direction of the talking and see this girl with a microphone and another, slightly shorter girl with a camera on her shoulder. The mic girl goes "Hi I'm from the ABC, the TV channel, here for Triple JTV and we were just wondering if I could ask you a couple of questions for the show."
Then I'm like. "Uhhh.. yeah okay." Inside I was going, wow triple J, not as well knows as say ... Video Hits but it'll do. LOL. Formulating my career up to Hollywood.
So they ask all these questions about newspapers and news and the internet (including Twitter and Facebook). Meanwhile I have the hardest job out of us three, not willingly knowing I was going to be put into the spotlight. I had to think up articulate answers for the questions they were asking that would make me look smart while incorporating the questions the mic girl asked into my answers. It was very draining. But one of my answers DID get mic girl nodding 'yess' and asking me to expand. Even asking whether I could say the it again for the camera. But all in all, I don't think I want to be answering random question on the street in front of the junkie filled land below the bridge in the near future, or for a career. But it was a good experience. Hopefully I will get noticed by talent scouts everywhere and be given a big movie deal.
;)
Hmmm... you know what? Maybe this week wasn't that busy after all. But it sure was eventful. Filled up this post didn't it?
