I Hate it When This Happens

Guess what came for me today? Gilmore Girls season 3. Woohooo!! I'd almost forgotten about it and then ta da! It was there. I've already finished three episodes of it. hahaha...it's a really good season. The first episode pissed me off though cause it kept lagging and skipping. Seriously, it was really unexpected. About twenty minutes into an episode, some climactic thing was happening and it was on that bit where there's a slight pause for suspense. And then ... Rory (the character it was about) stops moving. Her expression stays frozen. At first I was thinking 'Wow, she can sure hold an expression for a while ... I wonder if she's breathing. This is so freaking suspenseful.'

And then I realise that something is wrong. The DVD stopped!! Hmmm that's okay maybe in a short while it start up again and all will end well. You won't believe how wrong I was. Eventually it DID start up again but in the wrong time...
So it was Rory frozen, about to say something that'll make you go 'Oh. My. God.' and then ... the credits start. The End.

Wtf?? It was shocking at first and then I laughed. It's such a cliche annoying movie thing that I'd do move. I would do that if I made a movie. Fade to black at the climax and then end. Hahahaha. But seriously, it's not funny!!

So I try and fix this in a number of ways that I'm pretty sure would just make the situation worse rather than fix it. I try cleaning the disk, cleaning the disk with water (and I mean a LOT of water), freezing it ... (hey, desperate times call for desperate measures) and then finally I put it back in, skip till it's up to the part I'm on. Still doesn't work. So I go from the credits and go backwards (smart eh?) as far as I can to that bit. It works. But the disk keeps lagging I don't really get what happens --"

AND that is my day. It was very fun and funny and generally I'm still excited about Gilmore Girls. Hahaaa. One episode won't backtrack me. Heehee
