Anyways, while Henry was doing his thing, I sat with a pen in hand, a page of untouched lines in front of me as I tried to think of a new Belonging story. But nothing would come to me. So Henry suggested we write a story together. One line each. This is what we came up with:
(Henry is in normal print while I will be in the italics)
I walked into the room, slowly scanning the interior of the space. Everything was exactly as I had left it, except for one child crawled up into the fetal position in the corner of the room. The girl, no more than five, stared straight at me in silent terror.
Without realising, I had moved forward towards the girl, the walls around me seemingly moving in. She flinched at the sudden movement. Then she bored her monstrous teeth and lunged at me. With barely any time to react, I whipped out my custom firearm and throwing knives while simultaneously bringing my adamantium foot up to meet her jaw. At that instant, I impaled my throwing knives through her chest and shot a bullet straight through her skull in a glorious display of blood and brains. I had no time to react as more of them crashed through the wall.
"Shit just got real." I announced to no one in particular as a gaggle of demon children lunged at me.
--- 5 minutes later ---
I walked out of the room, my friend running towards me. "What happened?"
"A number two," I replied. His step faltered, disgust etched onto his face.
"Why are you covered in blood then?"
His gaze flickered. As I tried to reach for a knife, I was blasted through the door, his wand brandished. Laying in a pool of my own blood, struggling to breathe, I feebly gasped out one last cry. "You? A wizard? After all this time?"
"Alwa-" Suddenly, I appeared behind him, my CLONE disappearing.
"Always, my ass," I said as I shattered his soul, leaning behind his wand. My foot hovered above the discarded wand, hesitating momentarily before driving down into the pavement, smashing it into pieces - pieces of an old friendship that had come to an end.
The End.
I quite like the twists in this story :)

this was so serious and dramatic. UNTIL you used THAT line, and it all became a joke.
