Allison: The Motion Picture

Have you ever thought of your life as a movie? This morning, when I got out of bed, the first place I went to was the computer. I turned it on, opened iTunes and then put on some calm, relaxing Jack Johnson music. The song is "Better Together" and its perfect for an early morning-waking-up-getting-breakfast-ready song. So, background music? Check.

The next thing we need are the right camera angles. There's a bad taste in my mouth from sleeping (of course) so I get some water and gurgle (gross lol). All the while, in my head, I'm seeing myself head on - the whole 'camera's in the mirror, facing you' shot hehe (: . And then whenever I lift my head up, it changes to a profile shot. Spit. Back to mirror shot. There's a even a shot from inside the fridge when I open the door to get some milk. Camera shots and angles? Check.

Of course, you can't have a movie focused on one person without some personal input from them. And that's where me and this blog comes in. We're the narrators, the voice overs you hear at the start of the movie, introducing the scene that you're watching. Hi. Did I mention my name was Allison? This is me, writing to Jack Johnson's "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing" and you're watching Allison: The Motion Picture. Enjoy your viewing experience.
