James Blake vs. Jo Winfred Tsonga

I got pretty worked up last night over a tennis match. It was between James Blake (USA) and Jo Winfred Tsonga (FRA) runner up of last year's tournament. Anyway, everyone in my family was going for Tsonga and I don't know why, but that made me want to go for James Blake. LOL. So I did. And I have to tell you, I got pretty into my act of rebellion. I really REALLY wanted him to win.

So during the match I was being sorta like a soccer mum. Haha, I tend to do that as you all should know by now. And everytime James Blake got like a really good point I'd be going, "Yeah!! Go Blake! That's the way!"
Words of encouragement you know?

Then by the third set Blake was losing 2 sets to nil. So to help him, I upped my words of encouragements a little bit. After Tsonga started winning all his service points, the game didn't look like it was in James' favour. And then .... it was a miracle, man. He FINALLY got one passed Tsonga, then another and some more. Eventually he gets the break! :)

And meanwhile I was shouting things at him such as "Yeah Blake! Smash his face in!" LOL. That's what I was becoming - shouting words of encouragement at Blake and words of disencouragement (?) to Tsonga. And there were others ...

When Blake looked like he could have got the set point - "Beat Tsonga! Beat him . . . to the ground!"

And while he was on break point - "Break! Break his heart!!!"

It was a very entertaining match for me. And it wasn't just Tsonga and Blake that were entertaining. Tsonga's coach was pretty funny too. When Tsonga won the first set, the showed the coach on the screen and he was in an awkward pose. It looked like he was about to throw a couple of air punches, but then saw himelf on screen and went back to a neutral pose. LOL.

Hahahaha ... good times. Although, I hate to say it but Jo Winfred beat James in straight sets =="
